for Oxford projects<\/li>\n<li>Weds 26th May 2010, Oxford, open to all &#8211; <a title=\"Complete Surveymonkey form to register interest\" href=\"http:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/s\/runcoco26may\">registration<\/a> is open until 1200 on 14 May 2010<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;ve been in touch with a number of community collection projects (e.g. <a title=\"Galaxy Zoo\" href=\"http:\/\/www.galaxyzoo.org\/\">Galaxy Zoo<\/a> and <a title=\"East London Lives 2012\" href=\"http:\/\/eastlondonlives2012.net\/\">East London Lives 2012<\/a>), as well as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucl.ac.uk\/infostudies\/andrew-flinn\/\">Dr Andrew Flinn, UCL<\/a> and Chris Batt OBE, author of <a title=\"Digitisation, Curation and Two-Way Engagement\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jisc.ac.uk\/publications\/documents\/digicurationfinalreport.aspx\">Digitisation, Curation and Two-Way Engagement<\/a>, and the <a title=\"JISC SCA\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jisc.ac.uk\/whatwedo\/themes\/content\/contentalliance.aspx\">JISC Strategic Content Alliance<\/a>, potential speakers for the workshops.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oucs.ox.ac.uk\/ltg\/events\/beyond2010\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Open Spires logo\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/ltgevents\/files\/2010\/04\/openpsires-large-slide-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Beyond Borders conference: The place of research institutions in open education<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Dissemination<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>presented at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jisc.ac.uk\/events\/2010\/04\/jisc10.aspx\">JISC 2010 Conference<\/a><\/li>\n<li>met with a Phd candidate from UCL to discuss community archive intitiatives<\/li>\n<li>presented a poster at the international <a title=\"beyond2010\" href=\"http:\/\/www.oucs.ox.ac.uk\/ltg\/events\/beyond2010\/\"><strong>Beyond Borders<\/strong><\/a> open education conference, and for the Learning Technologies Group of Oxford University we &#8216;live&#8217; blogged and &#8216;live&#8217; tweeted<\/li>\n<li>written 2 adverts for Oxford internal publications, <a title=\"OUCS  news\" href=\"http:\/\/www.oucs.ox.ac.uk\/publicity\/index.xml.ID=news\">OUCS  news<\/a> and the University of Oxford <a title=\"Blueprint\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ox.ac.uk\/staff\/publications\/blueprint\/index.html\">Blueprint<\/a>, as well as prepared a poster for <a title=\"Oxford Artweeks\" href=\"http:\/\/www.oucs.ox.ac.uk\/publicity\/artweeks\/index.xml\">Oxford Artweeks<\/a><\/li>\n<li>set-up a Google Group as <a title=\"COmmunity collection Google Group\" href=\"http:\/\/groups.google.com\/group\/runcoco\">a forum for community collection projects to communicate<\/a> online<\/li>\n<li>posted to this project <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/runcoco\/\">blog<\/a><\/li>\n<li>engaged (via <a title=\"Follow RunCoCo on Twitter\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/RunCoCo\">Twitter<\/a>) with national cultural heritage managers, other managers from <a title=\"JISC\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jisc.ac.uk\/whatwedo\/programmes\/digitisation\/econtent.aspx\">the JISC e-Content and digitisation programme<\/a> and experts in digitisation and user-generated content <a title=\"Follow RunCoCo on Twitter\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/RunCoCo\"><\/a><\/li>\n<li>answered <a title=\"Email RunCoCo project\" href=\"mailto:runcoco@oucs.ox.ac.uk?subject=Contact%20from%20blog\">enquiries<\/a>, in particular from managers setting up some very different bids for funding from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jisc.ac.uk\/fundingopportunities\/funding_calls\/2009\/12\/1309bce.aspx\">JISC   Developing Community Content<\/a> call<\/li>\n<li>used <a href=\"http:\/\/delicious.com\/RunCoCo\">Delicious<\/a> to link to interesting material online (you can see the latest links and Twitter conversations in the side margin of this blog)<\/li>\n<li>continue to collaborate in the writing of a bid to Europeana<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oucs.ox.ac.uk\/publicity\/artweeks\/index.xml\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Artweeks at OUCS 2010\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oucs.ox.ac.uk\/publicity\/artweeks\/ArtweeksINframeWEBlearn.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"323\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Community Contributed Collection software (CoCoCo)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>development continues of the open-source <a title=\"RunCoCo  software CoCoCo\" href=\"http:\/\/projects.oucs.ox.ac.uk\/runcoco\/resources\/cococo.html\">CoCoCo software<\/a> which facilitates the online collection of digital  objects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Exemplar community collection<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Worked with the exemplar project &#8211;
