As the first in a series of three articles on crowdsourcing, Stephen discusses user-generated content (UCG) as &#8216;new history&#8217;.\u00a0 Some nice examples from the work we have been doing for the last few years &#8211; crowdsourcing First World War material.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>There is a genuine case to be made that, in the digital age, &#8216;User Generated Content&#8217; (UGC) is &#8216;new history&#8217;.
