{"id":198,"date":"2012-07-04T16:53:27","date_gmt":"2012-07-04T15:53:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.oucs.ox.ac.uk\/nexus\/?p=198"},"modified":"2012-07-04T16:56:28","modified_gmt":"2012-07-04T15:56:28","slug":"mobiles-revisited","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/nexus\/2012\/07\/04\/mobiles-revisited\/","title":{"rendered":"Mobiles revisited"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been some time since I last wrote about Nexus&#8217; mobile users so here&#8217;s some nice fresh statistics to see what has changed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a011,461 ActiveSync devices<\/li>\n<li>78% have connected in the last three calendar months.<\/li>\n<li>61% \u00a0have made a connection today.<\/li>\n<li>3,031 users have more than one ActiveSync device<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/nexus\/files\/2012\/07\/mobilestrend1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-200 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/nexus\/files\/2012\/07\/mobilestrend1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"344\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/nexus\/files\/2012\/07\/mobilestrend1.jpg 344w, https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/nexus\/files\/2012\/07\/mobilestrend1-300x176.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 344px) 100vw, 344px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Effectively we have just under a quarter of our users making regular connections via ActiveSync devices. Although Apple have the, er, <em>Lion<\/em>&#8216;s share and are showing a healthy increase, the gong for greatest <strong>percentage<\/strong>\u00a0increase goes elsewhere: the number of Samsung devices has more than tripled.
