{"id":528,"date":"2016-07-06T11:57:43","date_gmt":"2016-07-06T10:57:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/lecture-capture\/?p=528"},"modified":"2021-03-29T09:40:52","modified_gmt":"2021-03-29T08:40:52","slug":"lecture-capture-and-disability-provision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/lecture-capture\/2016\/07\/06\/lecture-capture-and-disability-provision\/","title":{"rendered":"Lecture Capture and disability provision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Replay Lecture Capture team has been working closely with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.admin.ox.ac.uk\/aad\/swss\/disability\/das\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Disability Advisory Services (DAS)<\/a>, to formulate guidance on the relevance of recorded lectures for disability-related provision.<\/p>\n<p>According to current legislation, universities are required to make &#8220;reasonable adjustments&#8221; for students with disabilities and encourage inclusive teaching practice which would benefit all students, including those who\u00a0have chosen not to disclose their disability.
