{"id":318,"date":"2016-06-06T14:04:26","date_gmt":"2016-06-06T13:04:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/innovation-challenges\/?p=318"},"modified":"2016-06-16T17:34:20","modified_gmt":"2016-06-16T16:34:20","slug":"it-innovation-challenges-201617","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/innovation-challenges\/it-innovation-challenges-201617\/","title":{"rendered":"IT Innovation Challenges 2016\/17 to be suspended for staff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">Following a meeting of <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.admin.ox.ac.uk\/it\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;font-family: Calibri\">IT Committee<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\"> on Monday 18 April where the financial challenges faced by the University and particular the IT Capital Plan were discussed, it was decided that for 16\/17 the IT Innovation Challenges<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\"> for staff will be suspended. The Student IT Innovation challenge in 16\/17 however will run as normal. IT Committee will review the decision during 16\/17 after the level of funding for overall IT Capital investment going forward has been decided, and based on any other feedback it receives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oxfordideas.wazoku.com\/portal\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;font-family: Calibri\">OxfordIdeas<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\"> site will remain to promote and support the projects currently underway.
