This call<\/a> is open to all Oxford University\u00a0staff* who have ideas for digital projects.\u00a0 Successful ideas will receive funding of up to \u00a350,000.<\/p>\n The theme for this year is\u00a0The Intelligent Campus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Artificial intelligence, the internet of things, and virtual\/augmented reality are technologies that have arrived and have the potential to tackle some of Higher Education\u2019s big challenges.\u00a0This year\u2019s IT Innovation\u00a0challenge invites\u00a0you to come with ideas for projects that improve the staff\/student experience at Oxford through exploring these emerging technologies \u2013 the use of smart campus technology, AI to speed up administrative\u00a0processes, AR to enhance our our public spaces, VR to create immersive learning experiences.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n As always, we also welcome other\u00a0ideas for projects that bring benefit to the University, its staff and\/or students through digital means.<\/strong><\/p>\n Ideas can be submitted between 26 February-25 March\u00a02018 at the Oxford Ideas site\u00a0https:\/\/oxfordideas.wazoku.com<\/a>. Any University member can see, comment on and vote for submitted ideas. [Update 13 March:<\/em>] Please note – the submission period has been extended to allow for time lost in strike action.
