We are dedicated to connecting the people of Oxfordshire to the mental health resources that they need through awareness campaigns, social media and our website.<\/p>\n<p>The focus of this project is to build a\u00a0free\u00a0website\/web\u00a0app\u00a0based on our current\u00a0prototype\u00a0website,\u00a0improving its functionality, usability and design, particularly on mobile devices.\u00a0The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.omhn.org\/\">OMHN website<\/a>\u00a0is a \u2018mental health search engine\u2019 that allows users to find Oxfordshire\u2019s resources and events by keyword, location and category, and save them to a\u00a0personal\u00a0profile.<\/p>\n<p>With the same resource database as its basic framework, the OMHN App will build on this template.\u00a0Our new and improved app\u00a0will\u00a0provide\u00a0more user-friendly experience, greater opportunity to\u00a0interact with the resources in our database,\u00a0better mobile\u00a0compatability\u00a0and\u00a0more\u00a0cooperation\u00a0on information with\u00a0the\u00a0local charities, campaigns and services\u00a0that we list: more intelligent search functions,\u00a0more information security,\u00a0personalised\u00a0newsfeed updates,\u00a0in-app charity donations,\u00a0an\u00a0integrated\u00a0mental health events calendar, and an admin portal for organisations to update their own information.<\/p>\n<p>This app will be marketed to both students and the general population of Oxfordshire. We believe\u00a0that the OMHN App\u00a0would be useful to\u00a0anyone\u00a0in the county\u2014after all, we all have mental health.
