Furthermore, once students arrive in Oxford, it can be an overwhelming experience, and Oxford\u2019s current information provision for new starters is flat and fragmented.<\/p>\n<p>Oxford 101 is an augmented reality walking tour, taking advantage of the latest web-based technologies to create an engaging and interactive experience that will help prospective students to understand what Oxford is all about; and enhances the orientation process for new starters.<\/p>\n<p>By working with a technology partner, Oxford will lead the way in providing a unique AR-enhanced experience; and experiment with new ways of engaging with undergraduate and graduate students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff project based\u00a0in the Academic Administration Division (AAD) Communications. 2018 staff\u00a0round For more information,\u00a0please\u00a0contact\u00a0innovation@it.ox.ac.uk.
