We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the disruption.<\/p>\n<p>The main focus for this release was &#8216;behind-the-scenes&#8217; improvements required as part of the move to Canvas, however, there are some noteworthy improvements.<\/p>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-6175 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2018\/06\/bootstrap-social-logo-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2018\/06\/bootstrap-social-logo-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2018\/06\/bootstrap-social-logo-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2018\/06\/bootstrap-social-logo-144x144.png 144w, https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2018\/06\/bootstrap-social-logo.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/>Bootstrap Library<\/h2>\n<p>The Bootstrap Library which is (apparently) the most popular HTML, CSS and JavaScript library in the world, is now available for use in WebLearn. (There was a bug that was preventing it from working correctly.)<\/p>\n<p>Bootstrap can be used on any HTML page in WebLearn including Resources, Lessons and Announcements.<\/p>\n<p>There is a dedicated <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/2018\/06\/liven-up-your-weblearn-pages\/\">blog post entitled &#8216;Liven up your WebLearn pages&#8217;\u00a0<\/a>which gives some examples and explains exactly to to add Bootstrap elements to your pages.<\/p>\n<p>This sort of thing is easy to do:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6054 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2018\/01\/alerts.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"293\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2018\/01\/alerts.jpg 800w, https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2018\/01\/alerts-300x110.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2018\/01\/alerts-768x281.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Others<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>When a new version of a file is uploaded in Lessons the filename is now corrected generated as filename-1.pdf instead of filename.pdf-1.<\/li>\n<li>Surveys: the preview of a template is now shown in a new tab &#8211; this is on the\u00a0 &#8216;Start a New Survey Step 1&#8217; page.<\/li>\n<li>CSV import into Calendar should now pick up the event type &#8211; if you are going to use this facility then please read this important note about <a href=\"https:\/\/weblearn.ox.ac.uk\/access\/content\/group\/info\/guidance\/adminfaq.html#calendar\">importing event types<\/a> first.<\/li>\n<li>All\u00a0JavaScript \/ CSS files should now be &#8216;versioned&#8217;\u00a0this means that there should no longer be errors stemming from cached files after a WebLearn upgrade.<\/li>\n<li>Email templates in the Surveys tool are now verified before allowing them to be saved &#8211; this should prevent garbled email notifications being sent.<\/li>\n<li>The Resources tool now allows selected files \/ folders to be excluded from a ZIP file export.<\/li>\n<li>In the Assignments tool, an alert is now shown if the &#8216;Visible Date&#8217; is set to be after &#8216;Open Date&#8217;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WebLearn was upgraded on 19th June 2018 to version 11-ox11.
