Students can take the test in their own time and benefit from hints and feedback provided by the tutor\u00a0when creating the questions.<\/p>\n<p>The following questions types are possible:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2017\/10\/quest_types.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5975\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2017\/10\/quest_types.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"271\" height=\"281\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The process of creating a test involves the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Create questions in a question pool &#8211; options are available to provide\u00a0overall feedback or hints<\/li>\n<li>Build an assessment by selecting questions to present (either sequentially or randomly)<\/li>\n<li>Test drive the assessment (test) as a student<\/li>\n<li>Set options such as open and close dates, time limits, number of attempts etc.<\/li>\n<li>Publish the test for students to take<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2017\/10\/process.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5978\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2017\/10\/process.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"376\" height=\"268\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2017\/10\/process.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2017\/10\/process-300x214.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 376px) 100vw, 376px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Tests tools keeps track of all attempts and provides a report showing student names, start and finish time, and scores.
