The <a href=\"https:\/\/weblearn.ox.ac.uk\/portal\/site\/:info:best-practic\/page\/493a7c84-a54b-4986-bcc8-841da62a6817\" target=\"_blank\">WebLearn Best Practice site<\/a> encapsulates our experience in supporting 19 departments in redesigning their WebLearn areas.<\/p>\n<p>Another output of the WISE project was a set of four WebLearn site templates, using the &#8216;box&#8217; design and layout:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/weblearn.ox.ac.uk\/access\/content\/group\/info\/guidance\/templates.html\" target=\"_blank\">Departmental Site, Programme Site, Course Site and Tutor Site<\/a>. The Best Practice site provides a link to the <a href=\"https:\/\/weblearn.ox.ac.uk\/access\/content\/group\/info\/least\/WLSiteTemplates155.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">guide on using the site templates<\/a>, which illustrates how to create a new site based on a template, and then to edit the components according to your needs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2017\/04\/bestpractice.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5718\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2017\/04\/bestpractice.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"625\" height=\"363\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2017\/04\/bestpractice.jpg 625w, https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2017\/04\/bestpractice-300x174.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 625px) 100vw, 625px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Best Practice site provides information about the Lessons tool (including various examples of Lessons pages), and considers the question: &#8216;new site&#8217; or &#8216;new page&#8217;?
