{"id":4208,"date":"2015-09-29T18:31:35","date_gmt":"2015-09-29T17:31:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/?p=4208"},"modified":"2015-10-06T16:32:27","modified_gmt":"2015-10-06T15:32:27","slug":"web-learning-from-history","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/2015\/09\/web-learning-from-history\/","title":{"rendered":"Web-Learning from History"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Learning Technologists Steve and Xavier\u00a0from the WebLearn team\u00a0have given a presentation at the recent\u00a0<a title=\"UAS conference\" href=\"http:\/\/www.admin.ox.ac.uk\/uasconference\/\">UAS Conference<\/a>,\u00a0along with\u00a0colleagues in the History Faculty to demonstrate the Faculty&#8217;s\u00a0<a title=\"History Faculty WebLearn site\" href=\"https:\/\/weblearn.ox.ac.uk\/portal\/hierarchy\/humdiv\/history\" target=\"_blank\">revamped WebLearn site<\/a>. Key features of the new site include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A simple structure, easily navigated by all users<\/li>\n<li>Touch-friendly interface suitable for tablets, mobiles and laptops<\/li>\n<li>Individual pages for each paper showing the course description, reading list, and lectures<\/li>\n<li>Individual tutor pages for interactive teaching and learning<\/li>\n<li>Dedicated pages for general information and forms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The work is part of the <a title=\"WebLearn Improved Student Experience project\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/wise-project\/\">WebLearn Improved Student Experience (WISE) project<\/a> to improve the student experience.
