The Conference of Colleges use this approach, they have decided to use the &#8220;Agenda View&#8221; rather than the more traditional view.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/confo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3899\" alt=\"confo\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/confo.jpg\" width=\"1011\" height=\"460\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/confo.jpg 1011w, https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/confo-300x136.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1011px) 100vw, 1011px\" \/><\/a>Here is what you could do &#8211; this will create a link in the LHS &#8220;page menu&#8221; which is a web page displaying your calendar.<\/p>\n<p>1\/ Create a Google calendar &#8211; you may like to create a new Google account which you share amongst your colleagues so that if you&#8217;re off, somebody else can update the calendar.<\/p>\n<p>2\/ Add one or two events but don\u2019t add everything just in case you decide the abandon this approach.<\/p>\n<p>3\/ Click on &#8220;Share this calendar&#8221; in the drop down list next to the calendar name (LHS of the page), select &#8220;Make this calendar public&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/share-googie1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3904\" alt=\"share-googie\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/share-googie1.jpg\" width=\"477\" height=\"208\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/share-googie1.jpg 477w, https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/share-googie1-300x130.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 477px) 100vw, 477px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>4\/ Back in WebLearn, in the Resources tool (in a folder if you like) create a new HTML page which will be called &#8220;calendar.html&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>5\/ Click on &#8220;Source&#8221; (top left) then by following the instructions on this page: <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/calendar\/answer\/41207?hl=en\">https:\/\/support.google.com\/calendar\/answer\/41207?hl=en<\/a> grab the embed code for your Google calendar (click on &#8220;Calendar settings&#8221; alongside the calendar then copy the HTML code in the &#8220;embed this calendar&#8221; row. (By default, the size is 800 x 600 &#8211; you can change these dimensions if you like.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/settings-googie.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3905\" alt=\"settings-googie\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/settings-googie.jpg\" width=\"477\" height=\"208\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/settings-googie.jpg 477w, https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/settings-googie-300x130.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 477px) 100vw, 477px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/googie-cal.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3900\" alt=\"googie-cal\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/googie-cal.jpg\" width=\"723\" height=\"170\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/googie-cal.jpg 723w, https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2015\/02\/googie-cal-300x70.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 723px) 100vw, 723px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>6\/ Paste this code into the WebLearn HTML page that you&#8217;re editing then save and give the page a name.<\/p>\n<p>7\/ Alongside the file in Resources select &#8220;Make Web Content Link&#8221; from the &#8220;Actions Menu&#8221; &#8211; call this link &#8220;Schedule&#8221; (or Calendar) and save.
