The PDFs will open but there will not be any scroll bars meaning that most of the document will be off the bottom of the screen.<\/p>\n<p>The way around this is to select the &#8220;Open in new window&#8221; feature which is found behind the &#8216;Options&#8217; link of the Web Content tool.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2013\/06\/openinnewwindow.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2736 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2013\/06\/openinnewwindow.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"542\" height=\"318\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2013\/06\/openinnewwindow.jpg 542w, https:\/\/blogs-new.it.ox.ac.uk\/adamweblearn\/files\/2013\/06\/openinnewwindow-300x176.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 542px) 100vw, 542px\" \/><\/a>We would strongly recommend that this is always selected when the Web Content link is to a PDF with more than one page.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have recently discovered that there is a problem reading\u00a0 PDFs on an iPad if the PDF is made accessible via a Web Content link.
