Monday 21st May 2012:<\/em> the ‘Import into WebLearn’ link from Google Scholar has vanished from the new-look interface. It turns out that this was intentional and Google do not plan to rectify the matter.<\/p>\n

This affects the ability to search and import from Google Scholar from within the Reading Lists tool (Resources). Search and import from SOLO is not affected.<\/p>\n

There is a workaround:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. click on the link on the bottom “Revert to old venerable look<\/em> “<\/li>\n
  2. close the popup window<\/li>\n
  3. click on “Search Google Scholar<\/em>” in WebLearn<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You should now see “Import into WebLearn<\/em>” again.<\/p>\n

    We plan to patch WebLearn to take users to the old interface but we do not know how long Google will support this view; one day it may disappear without warning!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
